We are the Bivens family. We live on six acres of land and have been breeding silver labs and labradoodles for over seven years. As of 2025, we are only breeding silver labs. We take pride in our dogs genetics and particular traits. Our dogs come from great genetic bloodlines that have been tested and certified. Our dogs are all AKC-registered and are a part of our family. We are so excited that you are interested in making them a part of yours as well.
Silver Labs, also known as Silver Labrador Retrievers, are a unique and striking variation of the classic Labrador Retriever breed. Their distinct silver-gray coat sets them apart from the traditional yellow, black, and chocolate Labrador colors. These stunning dogs possess a captivating beauty that has made them increasingly popular among dog enthusiasts. Despite some controversy regarding their classification, Silver Labs are recognized by certain kennel clubs as a legitimate color variation within the Labrador Retriever breed.
Apart from their remarkable appearance, Silver Labs inherit the same friendly and gentle temperament that is characteristic of Labradors. They are known for being loyal, intelligent, and sociable companions, making them excellent family pets. These dogs typically display a high level of energy and enthusiasm, requiring regular exercise and mental stimulation. Silver Labs are often praised for their trainability and willingness to please, which makes them suitable for various activities such as obedience training, agility, and even therapy work. With their striking silver coats and lovable personalities, Silver Labs have earned a special place in the hearts of many dog lovers around the world.
Got a question? We’re here to help.
Yes, we provide them with their first vaccination shot, which is a 5-in-1 (DHPP) puppy shot. This vaccine will prevent distemper, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and two types of adenovirus (hepatitis). We also see that they receive three rounds of dewormer.
Yes, all of our dogs are fully AKC registered, and we will have paperwork for each puppy for the new owners to register them if they choose to.
Yes, there is a non-refundable $100 deposit. This deposit is due in order to hold your place in line to pick out a puppy when they are between 4 and 5 weeks old.
We collect a $100 non-refundable deposit to reverse your right to pick out a puppy. At the 4 or 5-week-old mark, you can select a puppy, and we collect another $200 at that time. Then the final payment is due for the remaining balance once the puppy is picked up to go to its new home when it is 7 or 8 weeks old. You can learn about our whole process HERE.
All of the puppies receive daily interaction from our whole family. They are kept with their mother until they have been weaned, which is normally around the 4-week mark.
Puppies are able to be held and picked out when they are 4 weeks old. If you would like to visit before that, please contact us and request an earlier visit. We do recommend waiting until their eyes are opened and they are moving around, but we will meet with you sooner if you want to.
